Ventilation needs to be based on the temperature and not on fixed controls.
As the weather is unreliable which is expected in this country. One day it could be warm where a vast amount of ventilation is needed.
Or another day it could be cold and little ventilation is needed. Ventilating a room too little becomes humid and uncomfortable.
Ventilating a room too much can draw out the heat leaving it cooler than it should be resulting in people turning the heating up which uses up energy.
Ventilation needs to be maintained to ensure it is running sufficiently the majority of the time.
Although in an ideal world ventilation would be totally controlled extracting air based on the level of humidity whilst reacting to the conditions. |
